I know a lot of people complain about the search and how there is no way to check on previous posts made without searching your own name and sorting by post date. On another site under the control panel they have this option. It looks like this. You would click User CP and then it says...

Obviously "Your Posts" takes you right to the search of your posts sorted by date and "Your Threads" takes you to all the threads you created sorted by date.
It is a very nice feature. Not sure how hard it would be to turn on this feature but just curious. I always hate having to search my name to see what people have responded to my posts and a lot of times i forget to check some and miss some ect...

Click Search
Type in Name
Choose Post or Thread
Choose Sort By date
Hit search
Then View
