Classic and Vintage Bicycles: What's it Worth? Appraisals and Inquiries - Campy Chorus 8sp ergo levers (circa ?)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I have a pair of Campy Chorus 8sp ergo levers (and hoods) that I'd like to get rid of, but know nearly nothing about. I've been told by different people that they could be late 80s or mid 90s, so I really don't know where to start.... please bear with me!
They appear to be a mismatched set, as the bodies are slightly different and one lever has stripes. They could use an overhaul, as they don't work too smoothly. One of them has a broken support "bracket", but it seems structurally okay and don't slip on bars. A little road rash on the levers themselves.
Any idea on their date? I realize that they're probably a mess to sell, but what is their reasonable value?

$20, hoods are worth $5 alone.

The 'good' lever is probably in $20-40 range while to broken one is only good for parts. I'm basing this on a nice pair I recently sold for ~$100.

So even though the 'bad' lever is functioning exactly the same as the other (which isn't too great :o), it's not worth anything?

date range is 1995-1995 I believe, and at that time I think the ergo power for chorus and record was identical..just like the syncro DT shifter were identical for any group... how do you know they are chorus? I could be missing something... given the condition I agree with the above valuations.

I'm not sure they are Chorus. One might be Record, or they both might be Record. But I'd rather "low-guess" than "high-guess" when I'm passing them on, if that makes sense -- I'd rather someone receive something better than expected than the other way around.

More or less correct. Its good only to someone who needs the internal parts but how much would someone pay for a parts lever when they can a good lever for $20-40?
