Classic & Vintage - I just gotta tell ya !

Get the tissues out coz this will make you cry-went down to my local city dump coz the guys there let me rumage in the scrap steel pile looking for bikes and parts,and staring right at me was an old frame,so what I hear you say,it was a "Ross signature" TRACK frame in purple with hand painted pinstriping ,cottered crank,head lugs had a circle and bar in them, looked very 60,s to me maybe even earlier,but I was to late coz Jimmy and his trusty "Dozer"had already pushed the pile up and mangled the frame way beyond help,sometimes life just aint fair ! got a "SOB" story to beat this one ???:cry: PS; I could have posted pics but it only would have upset you all !

It had already been in a front end collision, and was bent beyond repair, which is why it was tossed in the first place. The bulldozer just finished the job.

I never landfill lurk, just don't have time. I told a friend, and he pulled a Cannodale R800 , my size, out of the pile. 105 STI 8-sp group, Time pedals, new wrap, black, and pretty. I sold him 2 used tires, tubes, a seat post and saddle. I saw it on CL for $575.

new fork, replace a couple of tubes and track ends and your good to go.

Always take. Decide what you do with it later.

Yes - in all seriousness, I could cold set it. It is not ruined by any means. Beat up, yes, but not ruined.

Take it, and I'll teach you how to cold set it via PM.

It can be saved. But, it's not an american Ross, or if it is itis an older three speed or something like that. It's definately not a track bike.

It's my size.
