Found this on the local cl, its been reposted a few times so im thinking its not worth it. looks like a little bit of paint damage(maybe rust)http://i44.tinypic.com/208u3v8.jpg
Not sure on year or model but it has suntour components.Kusuki handle bars, kkt pro vic 2 pedals. So from the wiki on it im guessing its the lowest end model, but im hoping its a 7xx(not sure on speeds) also needs a new derailleur, but im probably just gonna make it SS. 75$

That Miyata looks like a 110 from 1981.

That bike has nothing in common with the 7xx series, other than the brand name. Stem mount shifters, cheap crankset, low end components, high ten steel forks and stays. Of course, it would be pretty difficult to get a 7xx series Miyata for $75.
Plus, the the picture, you can clearly see the model number on the top tube: "One Ten".
Also, bike has some of the classic signs of neglect: rust on cable stop, missing one turkey lever, bar tape worn and part MIA, dirt/grime on top tube. This is the type of bike I find at garage sales and similar in the $20 range, clean up and sell for $125 in ready to ride condition. At a $75 price, not enough room to cover costs and make a profit as a flip. On the other hand, if you are looking for an inexpensive bike to ride and don't mind doing a little work yourself, why not?
If you have to pay someone to clean it up and fix it up, then this deal is a non-starter.

I have my eye on a similar Miyata 110, but it is a cromoly main frame with hi-ten fork and stays. I think, but can't remember, that the main tubes are butted. If it has that level of frame, I would say it is a pretty decent deal at $75.
You can see the One Ten decal on the top-tube in that very picture.
It's the bottom-of-the-barrel Miyata. That said, Miyata didn't make anything really crappy, so it's probably still decent.

It has no 'flip potential' at $75 but if your the end user go for it. $75 is a fair street price.

Not really bottom of the barrel. They had a 90 model and a few other things at that level. A Miyata Sport (a really low end model with steel cranks etc) sold on ebay recently for $80.
