Since there is a NorCal ride on Sunday (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=511922) that my wife and I are planning to attend, I thought I'd plan a couple of hills for Saturday to get some climbing in as Sunday's ride is pretty flat.
For those of you that went on the Cothrin Ranch ride today, this was going to be the way to the meeting area instead.
Here's the ride profile:

It's about 45 miles and 2400 feet. You're not imagining that spike. There really is an 18% grade. Thankfully, it's short.
I don't plan to ride this fast, just take it easy (well, as easy as a ride like this can be taken). There are some real fast fun sections to make up for the sufferfest in the middle.
I figure to leave home at 9am. So I think ride meeting will be near here. Anyone want to come along? If there is interest, we could leave at 10am instead and stop for lunch at Karen's Bakery in Folsom. That's a real treat if you haven't been.
