I have a year 2000 Rans Stratus, 20x26 wheels, and desperately want to mount disc brakes on the rear wheel. I love to hit high speeds on downhills, but continuously scare my self with the inadequate rear wheel braking. I certainly do not need disc brakes on the front, as it is relatively easy, and dangerous, to break the front wheel free loose when braking. Has anyone successfully mounted rear disc brakes on this model? It does not have disc brake mounting tabs on the frame.....for some silly reason.....
