Well there were a couple of us who had thought of going to Greenville, SC this weekend to do a couple of their Spring Training Series races. After watching the forecast for several days we decided it wasn't worth it to drive 5 hours to race in the rain, or whatever else they may have ended up with. Instead we decided to stay in town and do race #2 of the local Winter Training races.

Well low and behold we awoke this morning to snow here in Alabama, may end up with 4-5". :wtf: It appeared to not be affecting the roads so we were "hopeful" the race would go on. :winter2: Well about 30 minutes ago we got the word that today's races are CANCELLED. I have no desire to go for a "ride" in this crap but was looking forward to the race. Oh well I guess it will be a rest day...

The Greenville Spring Training Series was cancelled today, as well.

During the collegiate racing season, Bloomsburg University always had the first race of the season in our area (PA / Eastern Collegiate). For three years in a row, it snowed on the way to the race, and the university had to plow the course before we could start.
