I was thinking, it would be great to have a "Developing World" forum for those people interested in bikes as a transport solution in developing countries.

Could be interesting. A sub-forum or a "sticky" item could be "publicity" for organisms that provide used bikes to developing countries. I hate it when I see bikes dumped with trash. The ones I see are usually in very bad shape and would be hard to recycle by an individual, but I know a couple of organisations that would be happy to receive them, work on them (or salvage parts) and send them abroad. Making their work known wouldn't hurt.
