Road Cycling - 650c touring tires?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Would appreciate it if anyone knows of a manufacturer that makes a 650c size touring tire.
Thanks,
Joel
What do you man by touring tire. There are many 650c tires in the market.

Xavier,
Thanks for the reply. What I mean by touring is a tire similar to Continentals Top Touring 700cx28. I have been looking for a 650c tire that can hold up on occasional dirt or somewhat rocky situations, without luck. If you know of one, would appreciate a recommendation.

Joel,
SAdly there are none. All 650c tires are mainly made for racing and 23c is the widest I come across occasionally.
If there is no way you want the 23c. Then try borowing a MTB wheel and putting it your bike. The 26" size will not be perfect but you may be able to accomodate it. If it works then you can buy narrown MTB rims and use narrow MTB tires. There are a few out there. Of course this is more cost buying rims and building wheels. Let me know. Good luck.

Mitsubishi makes a tire called Trimline which is 650 38c. They're very tough and handled the roads (and tracks) in Laos, so they're probably what you're after.
Schwalbe also makes some pretty tough tires, with some 650 options. http://www.schwalbetires.com/bike_tires/road_tires

Here you go, http://www.terrybicycles.com/detail.html?item_no=24000&c=Accessories
Terry bicycles had some made for them and they sell some 571 x 28c (650c) tires.
