I dont know much about Paramounts. This bike on ebay says Waterford and PDG.I always thought PDG were the imported paramounts and no Waterford bikes had PDG on them.Is this a real Waterford Paramount?

Series 1 are Waterfords, IIRC.
Lugged crown = Waterford.
Unicrown = Outsourced

Right on Cuda...I may have bought that bike for a friend (56cm and blue?). PDG stands for Paramount Design Group. Built in Japan with some of the early Tange OS tubing. A fine bike.

I'm not ready to say it isn't a Waterford built Paramount.
The pictures are too small to see any details, but the fork doesn't look like a unicrown fork, and the seller says it's built with True Temper OS tubes; none of the Series Paramounts used True Temper. Also, I've seen Waterford built Paramounts with "PDG" and "OS" decals, so that doesn't necessarily mean it's an imported Series bike.
The serial number would tell us for sure, but the seller didn't put it in the listing.
EDIT - I e-mailed the seller asking for the serial number.

The seller responded with the serial number, confirming it's Waterford built.
The Serial number is 600EMWM900XX. Based on the Waterford website it means:
frame size : 60cm
Product Code: Fork size (E)
Factory Code: W (Waterford)
Month Code: M (December)
Year Code: 90 (1990)
Sequence number: XXX
Thanks,

I have a 91 Waterford Paramount, same frame size but with 600 components. It is very light compared to my 70's Paramounts.

When I saw that color scheme I thought of Lemond bikes from that era.
Rabid I have always thought the paint on your Paramount was was just too cool. Is it a rider? Lp
