I'll be there, riding at the "early" start time (5:30 AM?), for what is usually an excellent event. This is my 5th time for the Solvang Double, and the course has remained constant for all the prev. rides, so it should be fun again this year.
A couple (or three?) years ago is was pretty soggy all morning, riding into a headwind and rain all the way to Moro Bay, but then sunny with a tail wind for the 2nd 100 in the afternoon.
Gotta love the climb up Drum Canyon at mile 175!
