Hi guys n gals. I will be flying into San Jose on March 13th and will have a couple of days to myself before my seminars start at Specialized in Morgan Hill on the 16th. It does not look like Ill have a bike to use for the weekend but I am looking for things to do and to see. Any suggestions? Any BF members up for a meet n greet Friday or Saturday evening :)

If you're going to be in MH for a few days make sure you hit Super Taqueria for lunch at least once. It's on the corner of Vineyard and Monterey right by Specialized................you're welcome :)

Hi Gary. Welcome to NorCal. If you want to try to get a ride in, at least let us know what size bike you ride and someone may even volunteer a loaner bike so we can show you some of our great riding!

I normally ride a 53/54. That would be awesome if someone wants to get a ride in with me and has a loaner. I'll will have all my gear and pedals with me. I will be doing 2 hour rides daily from Specialized the following week with some of there employees but I have a feeling there will not be much time for sight seeing on those rides :)

Are you staying in MH? or closer to San Jose? There's some great classic NorCal rides just to the north.

I am flexible Friday and Saturday as far as location. Ill have a rental car and no hotel reservations for the weekend. I need to be back at SJ airport Sunday morning to return the rental and catch a shuttle to MH to the hotel where Specialized is putting us up for the week.

Do you work for Specialized? Or are you a dealer? I'll bet we are all curious about the super-secret Specialized training camp! And why weren't we invited???

Just a dealer. We are having a week long fitting class at there facilities. Everyday we take a 2 hour break and ride. Most days are road rides and I believe one day is a mountain ride. They put us on SL2's and Carbon Epic's. Not a bad way to spend a week. It is 21 degrees outside here right now.
