So I had decided on getting the Kilo tt and Have the money in my hand. Problem is, I went to test ride some bikes to better figure out my sizing. Long story short, I fell in love with the rush hour.
My question is, is the Kilo going to be worth the price? Will I love it? Or should I simply save up and buy the Rush hour?

if you can afford it, buy the rush hour. It is a beautiful bike. The Kilo will not disappoint if you want to go a cheaper route though.

Rush hour is not better, but it is more expensive and has completely different geo.

The kilo is good for just starting out. Save the money and upgrade the parts as you go.

The Raleigh has road geometry including a decent length of headtube (think minimal drop from saddle to bars). Unfortunately, it lacks cable guides and bottle bosses. The Kilo has a miniscule HT throughout the range of sizes, but does come with guides and bosses. If you combined the two, you'd get a decent fixie. On balance, I'd test ride the Raleigh and get the one the size that fits. I still use my Rush Hour for winter training. The Kilo went back when I couldn't make the geo work for me.

i ride a 60cm kilo and it is a bit twitchy, but that's what you get from the geometry
if you want a project, get the kilo.
if you don't feel like upgrading half the parts, get the raleigh

The tt does not have guides or bosses as far as I can tell, it has no brakes. The rush hour has front and rear brakes standard;)

I have a 50cm Rush Hour and it has tiny 80mm headtube. The only thing that bike is good for is getting in the drops and sprinting. I need 35mm of spacers and a stem flipped up to get a cockpit similar to my Synapse.

haha, now that you mention it all I did was sprint the bike. I felt odd cruising off of the drops

kilos + better cog + Dura Ace lockring + good pedals/straps/clips=good build to start wtith.
you can chop/flop the handlebars and maybe get a new seat too, but seriously that'd be a great/fairly affordable start
Probably $440 or so but well worth it.

I was just going to ask if you had suggestions haha, thanks! What is the reason for needing a new rear cog?

stock ratio is not the best and the cog is not the best. i have two EAI cogs and love them. Well worth the money. i also have a Dura Ace lockring and love it, or you could get a Ben's (Same Price) and maDde in the US. i have two and love those as well. I also have the MKS Gr9 pedals and love them, very comfy
