im thinking about getting an IRO frame but not sure what size to go for, since i hear they run small...
i had a 50cm Kilo TT that fit perfectly, what size IRO frame do you think i should get?

How well did the kilo fit you? the standover on the 50cm kilo is 30.4 inches, so you should be fine with the 53cm if the Kilo fit perfectly. The 50cm might be a tad smaller in that case.

actually, now that I look at your kilo from your signature, you should go with the 50cm. the top tube is the same size as the kilo as on the angus/mark V, so the IRO would be much like your kilo except with more nut clearance.

I suggest riding one. If, though, you're buying online, I think you'd be better off with the 53 Iro. A buddy of mine rides a 53 Iro (I ride a 53 Kilo), and after riding my bike, he wants to get a 55 Iro frame.
The 53 Iro isn't a 53 at all. I don't know why they call it a 53cm bike if none of the measurements are 53cm.

Would a 50cm Mark V fit a 5' 6" guy like me?

I am 5'6" and ride an IRO Jamie Roy 50cm and it fits me perfectly. I believe the JR and Mark V both have a 29.5 in. standover height with the 50 cm frame.

I am 5'6" also and ride a 50cm Mark V. Some would say I have too much standover clearance, but the top tube reach is perfect. I am running a 90cm stem.
