I am about to get a fixed gear/single speed bike, specifically the Kilo TT. I was wondering what everyone recommends as a good front brake, but not to expensive.
Thanks,

I think a lot of people have said they're satisfied with that Tektro kit from BikeIsland.

I don't know what qualifies as "not too expensive," but I like Cane Creek's brake for $97 msrp:

Single pivots look nicer but dual pivots are better stoppers.
had a similar question few days ago. discussion here (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=515791) and here (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=513562).

Titanium Zero Gravity brakes.
I have the tektro brake kit, it works, 34$ too.

I use this as well. The pads don't seem to be the best, but it does what it's supposed to do.

Ask at your LBS, they probably have some old dual-pivot calipers sitting around for $10 or less, they can help with a cable/lever too. Not sure if you're new to this, but a brake is something you want to have installed correctly the first time. Relying on a brake that won't work is worse than riding brakeless in the first place.
