Hello. Just discovered this forum. My name is Darrin a 38 year old x bmxer/skateboarder. I recently pulled out of my parents attic an old Schwinn frame, forks, kranks(with one white pedal) and a traditional gooseneck. It is a pretty electric blue with white schwinn writing that is barely visable. The badge on the front of the frame is there. Also there is a logo on the bike post(a little lower on the frame) part of the frame that says Chicago. If I remember correctly it was a bike we found in the woods. I am sure it was stolen. We turned it in the police and nobody claimed it so we went and picked it up. It is a 20" frame and the forks are very flat(not tubular like the frame). The frame also has some curved accent tubing that....I am trying to remember...I believe curves from the frame near the gooseneck and goes down and connects to the lower seatpost part of the frame. I will have to upload some photos when I get a chance. I would guess it was made in the 70's or early 80's because that is when I was heavily into 20" bikes bmxing. Any help would be appreciated. I know it's hard to go off what I have given unless you are one of the schwinn experts out there. Thanks. I can probably get some picks up by the end of the week(I want to clean the frame up a bit. Later.
