Would it be difficult to add a subforum to the top-level forums for gear reviews (i.e. a Gear Review subforum in the Touring arena)? Something like a "5-star point" voting system based on community opinion for arbitrary bike-related goods. I can see something like this being useful in the Touring and Commuting sections (at least) where the same questions about gear seem to be asked with almost regular frequency. This might help people make better purchasing decisions based on a more "quantifiable opinion" of their peers.
Is there something like this already here? Is this just a silly idea? :o
