I just enjoyed a wonderful foreign film called El Ban~o del Papa (The Pope's Toilet). Without giving the whole film away, a group of local men from the town of Melo make their living crossing the Uruguayan border into Brazil to buy merchandise on the cheap and return to Melo to sell. The bikes seem to be singlespeed, lever brakes but I could never make out what they were in the film. It was great to see these old bikes truly being put to work.
Anyone else seen this movie? I thoroughly enjoyed it.
