Hi,

This is for sale at a local thrift store for $650. Can you tell me the year or any other info? The price seems kinda steep...

Looks like a '93-'95 2.8 frame. The photo resolution is bad, so I can't make out if it is a R700 or higher model, but defiantly has 105 or higher components. $650 is way too much.

Thanks. The person thought it was a r900 with 600 shimano. Not sure what that is.

Your local market can influence the price a bit, but it's pretty close to twice what it should be bringing around the Dallas/Ft Worth area.

If you get the serial number stamped on the frame you can go here http://www.vintagecannondale.com/info.html to get more information.

Actually even if in pristine shape the bike should be selling for $200 - 250. That's way overpriced!

Any used C-dale with fewer than 9 speed equipment should be considered a $200 bike. Very poor rear dropout design on that generation of bikes, too.
