Just an update for some people who might be interested in some local track racing events in South Florida...
The Velodrome at Brian Piccolo Park (http://www.broward.org/parks/velodrome.htm) will be having 3 open race events this month. Entry fee is $8. Have your racing license (http://www.usacycling.org/news/user/story.php?id=2621) ready!
The dates are: March 14 - 21 - 28
(and just as a backup, here is the schedule for the rest of the year) ..
They are the actual day of the event:
April: 11 - 18
June: 20
July: 11 - 25
Aug: 8 - 15 - 22 - 29
Sept: 12 - 19 - 26
I hope to see a lot of new faces out there for the open racing, these are usually mass start events of varying styles.
