Winter Cycling - Why is MAY so cold....

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well this sucks...I dont want to be a b*tch and whine....but its cold!!
Last year I was in short and a T-shirt right now!
But 5-10 Degrees Celsius just turns my off some days when its grey and almost raining. Riding in the winter at -32 Celsius was ok...but this inbetween stuff is crazy!...anyone else have some funbky weather going on where they live?

I feel your pain. I went from a high of 70F, Last week on the commute home. To a low of 25F and snowing for the commute to work in just 24 hours.
This crappy weather has got to STOP!
Hey , It's unseasonably cold in NB too. An eyes watering, nose dripping and knuckle whitening cold April and May this year. It's epeciallly hard for family rides but gives us the excuse to buy new clothing and gear....

And here I was sort of whining about my ride on Saturday in the rain and 62 degree weather. Ah, Oregon in the springtime. Just another day in paradise.
Come to Ohio, it is unseasonably warm right now. The past few days have been in the mid to upper 80s. The weather here is really messed up though. Just a week or so ago it was in the 30s. We keep jumping between unseasonably warm and unseasonably cold weather and my body just cannot adjust. 85 isnt that hot, but I am burning up right now.

Grey, damp, 5-10C, that's a normal winter.
May in the UK is 15-20, dri-ish, unless its wet. Its a really great time to escape the horrible climate in Canada.

I'll take cold over wet. So much mud I had to push my bike down a 10% slope today, the ground is complete goo.
