I heard this one reported on the radio this morning. It was written on a mirror souvenired from the old Adelaide Railway Station when it was pulled down years ago, so the sign probably originates from early last century. The sign simply said:

"No riding bicycles in the toilet"

Must have been a pretty big toilet... ... since we are on signs ?aren't we? In a secretaries office...If you have nothing to do, don't do it here.

I've walked my recumbent into the restroom once to keep it safe, but fortunately didn't need to use its seat while in there.

In Germany I once saw a sign indicating that tanks (army tanks) used the path.

At another place there a sign showed a hedgehog over "Please don't ride over us".

OK, so now I am really going to have to take a picture of the sign some day soon.

For those military types that had to do formation runs, you will remeber this "anti-cycling road sign" posted on some of the roads near base housing. I see several of the signs on the army base where I have a favorite cycling route.

It is a large diamond sign with yellow background and black print that says "NO CADENCE".

"NO CADENCE" give me a break, how do you cycle with NO CADENCE?
