I know it's pretty late in the day, but I am going to hit the road somewhere in the Los Gatos/San Jose area tomorrow morning. Anyone want to come out and ride with me? I really don't care where we start/ride, I am just trying to break my 10 ride solo streak!!

Hey Colin - sounds great. I was sorely tempted to play hookey here and just keep driving down 101, but alas life is too busy at the moment so I made do with a pre-dawn ride up San Bruno Mountain from my office.

Hey we missed you on the woodside deadends ride a couple months ago. Actually we were a few miles into the ride when I think it was Ramon who realized you were missing. Hope you didn't show up at the start after we had left.

No I wasn't there actually. In the last two months I have had some crazy stuff happen in my life preventing me from going riding in the mornings. My schedule is freeing up now and I am ready to go once again. I have glanced at the NorCal forum today but is there anything scheduled for Sunday March 8? I am riding with a team tomorrow the 7th, but Sunday is wide open for me.

Well...you didn't miss much. I decided to go out on my mountain bike, up Limekiln. No sense in muddying up my nicely cleaned roadie.
result- somewhat cold, poor traction, and a rubbing front rotor = not enjoyable.
lesson- I should have taken the road bike after all.
