Checked the archives; if it's there I missed it.

I'd like a DFW area wheel artisan to build a wheel for me: S-A XRK8(W) hub and Sun CR-18 ISO349 rim, 36 spokes. Spokes will be short - probably 125mm or so.

I've called a couple area shops & wheel builders and nobody claims to have a machine to cut the spokes down.

If nobody local wants the job, I'd build the wheel myself, but I'd still need the short spokes.

Any suggestions or recommendations?

Thanx!

Performance Bike on US75 and Walnut Hill has one. They made some 29er spokes for me.

Besides Performance at 75 & Walnut Hill mentioned above:

RBM should have one, I'd be surprised if they didn't.

Wheels In Motion in Richardson had one when I worked there back in 1992.

I imagine Bikes, Inc. also has one, but don't know for sure.
