Do you guys dry your cycling clothes in the dryer?

never - cycling clothes dry quicky, no reason to use the dryer.

i also use a laundry bag to wash cycling clothes

Mine are machine washed on gentle, I do use softner, and then hang dry them, My bibs usually I have turned inside out to dry...

Lately, certain shorts I have started to hand wash only..THose with colored panels...They get thin quickly. Maybe natural, maybe washing..Hand wasing, see if it helps..The black colored shorts.

I use my dryer but it has an ultra-delicate/gentle setting.

I use a dryer... the shorts stretch too much if I don't, it seems. My Cannondales return to their original size if I throw em in the dryer for a few minutes on the inferno setting. Don't seem any worse for the wear after over a year.

Hang'em and dry.

I wash on gentle, no fabric softner; dry halfway on low heat.

What type of detergent are you using for hand washing? I was considering this step since I only have two pairs of shorts and running a wash cycle every two days gets annoying.

I put everything in the washer (regular cycle) with detergent and dry them in the dryer on gentle cycle (low heat). In the warm months I dry my bibs and shorts (turned inside out) in the sun.

I use Cafe Suds http://www.branfordbike.com/wearcare/wear4.html#Cafe%20Suds and hang dry. Seems to work well for me. The white sox go in with other whites, using hot water. Good to know what Seely said about the dryer and shorts...i've got a pair I might try that with.

Machine wash with liquid detergent (Tide), and hang dry. In the summer, I try to get the shorts inside-out into the sun every now and again.

Cold wash, normal cycle. NO FABRIC SOFTENER. That cuts down on the wicking properties of the material. Line dry. Put things like gloves and headbands in a net bag.

Water, pot, lil bit of Dr Bronner's All-One soap. Push it all around some, rinse, hang dry.

Same here, cold wash, normal cycle, hang dry. And town is right- do not use softener! It's not good for that type of fabric. I use liquid detergent, usually tide or Purex. I only put it in the dryer if there's something not totally dry, like shorts. It's okay to toss it in on the gentle dry cycle for a few minutes.

Cold wash. Gentle cycle. Drip dry.

Gentle cycle (cold) w/ more a bit more water than needed. No softener (seems to make the jersies breathe less). Air dry inside-out (for shorts). Wash the gloves every month or two... I have 2-4 outfits depending on which shorts I'm in the mood for, so I wash every week.

Cold, gentle wash; dryer warm. I wash all clothing after each use. I live in a cool damp climate. If there is a persistent marine layer (stratus or fog), it can take a couple of days for cycling clothes to hang dry--particularly in winter. I have washed and dried some pieces of clothing over and over in the last four years without any noticeable change in them. I tend to buy used team wear cheap so that I don't have to worry too much about care. But, if I get some Assos clothing for my birthday . . . hand care all the way.
