...local or close to Yorba Linda (Orange County). Specifically, a place which I can do 20 minute intervals without interruption from rolling terrain and stop signs. This stretch of road may have uninterrupted climbing--preferably around the 3-4% gradient range--or be pancake flat.
Lately I've been doing my 20 min intervals on the SART, but I feel the slight power rises underneath the street overpasses are messing up with my pacing and consequently I'm not giving it my best effort. I guess Santiago Canyon is another stretch of road that's pretty local--it might be best to take it from the north side towards the south for extended uninterrupted climbing. I'm not sure.
Any suggestions?
