Anyone recommends a good saddle that won't hurt the wallet? I've been checking out a lot of saddles and looks like SELLE ITALIA is everyone's choice...tnx!

There are one or two of here who have a preference to Brooks saddles.

Selle Italia makes a good saddle in a variety of choices, and prices.
From the superlight C64 (weighing 64 grams) with a $200 plus price tag to Selle Italia Nitrox Gel at about 1/4th the price, but four times the weight. And if you pick a saddle that is too tough on the buns, they even sell gel saddle covers to remedy the situation! Covers are available in black, blue, red or white.
Have used their minimalist SLR (135 grams ($100+) with 5 grams of padding. Rides great if you like a very hard saddle; I can tolerate it real well til about the 40 mile mark and then my sitzbones don't want to sit any more! The flagship Flite comes in a variety of densities/designs/weights, inluding male/female designs.
Italians seem to have their act together when it comes to saddle choices.

Two words for the saddle weary ... E-bay
Cheap and when you find it doesn't fit your a**, you can dump it and get another.

Selle Italia is just like all the others... what's ideal for one person sux for another.
I've had good luck with Fizik, formerly a pave`, and more recently, an Alliante`. They tend to fail the "pain in the wallet" test, tho. Terry is another brand worth considering, in addition to those previously mentioned.
In my experience, the cheap models of any brand are generally worth the price.

I hate to admit this as I consider myself a brand snob with a conscience, but I've found that the Performance Forte SLX to be an excellent saddle. I bought for the beater on sale for $49 and ended up switching it to the racer as I liked it better the Selle Italia.

That looks like a Specialized Body Geometry saddle with a different name on it.

Got it for less than $20 US. I believe its made by a Taiwan based company.. And since most bicycle parts are made in china and taiwan, I wouldn't be surprised if specialized is getting there saddles from them.
I have the 1050 saddle.
No it does not have gel padding.. I hate gel, my last gel saddle, Vetta Gel, was too much a pain.
