Can anyone give me some reports about these races from previous years? Which is better/more fun in your opinion?

Due to college budget money restraints, it looks like I'm going to have to choose between a weekend racing at Wente Vineyards or the one day Santa Cruz race for my April racing (other than Sea Otter, which was a gift from my parents :) ). Any opinions? Which option is better for which kind of rider?

Wente is one of my favorites. Have never done the Santa Cruz crit.

I did Wente last year for the first time and it's a blast. I have no experience with the SCC.

Two passes, a screaming downhill, decent roads and a well-run event=fun. I can't wait to do it again.

I'm signed up for the Wente; it's my first time doing it (cat 5 35+).
