Folding Bikes - Pootling in Napa and Sonoma?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

SWMBO (Maggie) and I are planning a few days holiday in the wine country in the first week of April after a conference in San Francisco.
Are there any good bike routes for pootling between vineyards in the Napa and/or Sonoma areas?
The emphasis would be: pootling, rather than mountain climbing; trails rather than sharing busy roads with cars; great wine; good spots for coffee and meals; and great scenery
If not, is there another area around san Francisco that might be better?
If we need to rent one or two bikes, where should we go?

I haven't ridden there in about a decade, but there are probably still great places to ride. I was on a tandem the last time I was there, but I've done a modest amount of road biking there in the past.
Lots of flat ground in the valleys, some nice parks with mountain biking opportunities.
Lots of places do wine country bike tours mixing cycling with wine tasting, for example

I'm sure you will enjoy it!

I have a Krebs map of the area, and it's good if not entirely up to date: http://www.krebscycleproducts.com/
Otherwise, there's:
Sonoma: http://bikesonoma.org/map.html
Napa: http://www.nctpa.net/bicycles_pop.cfm
Saying that, I haven't ridden up there. The Mrs has, and she enjoyed it.
