Our upcoming First Annual Bicycle Ride August 31 will also be the 50+ Forum's 5th anniversary!!
Joe Gardner and I started this crazy thing in late August and early September, 2004! It was met with a lot of resistance at first, but I think has proved worthwhile over the 5 years.
Our purpose then, and I think our purpose now:
Share the victories, challenges, successes and special concerns of bicyclists 50 and older. Especially useful for those entering or reentering bicycling.
