After 3 days and about 20 hours wrench time, I completed building my first road bike, a 2008 Giant OCR 3500. I've enjoyed cycling on and off for the past few years - usually mountain biking. This year I was introduced to road biking and I am enjoying my outings. My location, central Florida, is rural enough to be comfortable cycling country roads and much to see.

I understand the basics of a bicycle but now I have some practical experience under my belt building a bike from ground up. I also wanted to document what I learned so far and share with other cycling enthusiasts. Enjoy!
