Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. This sounds so Berkeley, and a little bit San Francisco.

I only shave my legs up to the cuff on my shorts and my legs have a noticable tan line there. When I;m naked it looks like I'm wearing white furry shorts.

I don't think this would end well for me - my seat is white..

Public nudity almost never turns out well. It always seems that the folks in the most hurry to run free unencumbered by the constraints of fabric are the very last folks you'd ever want to see naked.
Some people should just never be allowed out of their clothing - at least not within view of polite society. Me included.
They have one of these in Chicago every year. As with most extreme behavior, it draws public attention to body painting, public nudity, and in some cases stomach stapling in lieu of any worthwhile cause.
Not that those aren't worthwhile causes, mind you.
just think of the shrinkage factor involved, people

Thousands of bike riders are shedding their clothes in the hopes that they can get us all to stop and think about the negative effects that cars (and the pollution they create) have on people and the planet.I really don't see how they expect people to make the jump from "Lookit all the nekkid folks!" to "This really makes me think about the absurdity of modern car culture."

Ah, more evidence that we have turned the corner on winter and are headed full steam ahead for summer.
You remember summer, right? It's the season that reminds us that the vast majority of the human race should be wearing more clothing, not less.
And yes, I am the very acme of that "vast majority." Emphasis on the "vast."
