Triathlon - Best Tri Suit

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Getting back into tri's this season and was looking into a tri suit. I am going to do several sprints in Florida (no wet suits) with the goal of an Olympic at the end on the season. The brands that I am looking at are Zoot, 2XU, Orca, LG and Pearl Izumi. I am leaning to wards last years zoot ultra or 2XU '08 elite. Any thoughts on those or others would be great. Thanks.

Well the best will be Speedo, but i have a 2XU that i really like and the Australian National Team uses them
I have a Speedo fastskin. It's good for up to one hour on the bike, then I miss having a chamois pretty badly.

I've used my Speedo fastskin for long races including a 4K swim/120K bike/30K run. IMO, if you're doing the training necessary for long races, you don't need the padding.
The Speedos run small. I bought my normal size (medium) but I can only wear it when I'm at my lightest.
I recently bought a Hammer (Voler) tri suit for $40. Haven't had a chance to race in it yet, but it seems like a good buy.

I'm a bigger person at 215lbs at 6'. My legs are fairly large too and I have found that Pearl Izumi fits me the best of the biking gear I've tried.
Now I'm wanting to stick to Izumi but I can't find a store near me that sells Izumi triathlon stuff. There is a Pearl Izumi outlet about 30miles from me but I'm about discounted stuff and not a long drive. They have discounted stuff but not so sure on the Triathlon stuff. You have to get last years stuff otherwise it's full price.
How would TYR, Speedo, Sugoi, etc's fit compare to Izumi? I saw above Speedo is a little smaller. In regular clothing it'd be safe to say my size is between Large and XL. Large is a little tight and XL is a little big.

I have seen a lot of complaints lately from people buying speedo gear for swimming. This is male and female both. My lifeguards that are buying their own speedo gear is failing twice as fast as the TYR stuff. One of my every day swimmers had two Speedo that didn't last over 45 days, and he is going back to TYR. This is not tri specific stuff, but swim specific gear. That is enough for me not to buy Speedo.
I have PI bike shorts and compared to the speedo things I tried, speedo was almost a size smaller. Probably more like a half size, but I had to go to the size larger.

Just for the record speedo stuff is not very durable, pros use them for one race because they are fastest the first couple of uses and are immediately given another one. Trisuits are for race only. I have heard more complaints about TYR than Speedo though in the durability department.
The Aqualink is cool, shamois for biking and "channels" that run vertical to help manage the water, long zipper in front to cool off during the run. Reasonable $$ too. I also have a DeSoto that has held up well, 1 mesh pocket in the back for gels, etc

I got some Speedo Jammers. Holy crap those jammers make a huge difference over my normal baggy swim trunks. They were $25. I'm mainly needing them to get me through 2weeks until my 1st tri.
I'm a 2XU fan myself, though I'll confess I haven't tried many.
I have saddle sore issues and want a emphasis on the bike short portion of the trisuit, so I am willing to go with a beefier pad. Which tri suit is the best in terms of bike shorts?
