Foo - Happy Thoughts for the poochies today!

Today I dropped the poochies at vet for a professional teeth cleaning. I know you are thinking, what's the big deal? Well...it is a big deal because a professional cleaning means they have to go under (anesthesia). Greyhounds are well known to be bad with chemicals and I've known one or two who died when going under.

Please think happy thoughts that the boys will be ok.

My widdo dog had three cleanings in her lifetime - all put under, no problem. Although she was a flimsy, floppy little noodle when I put her on the ground after the car ride home - and she insisted on "trying" to run up the stairs. No workey.

:) You will have some BIG floppy noodles to CARRY out of the car.

HEY! We own the same TV trays. I mean, mine are mine. And yours are yours. We don't co-own the same trays. Of course, if we did, that would be creepy in a space/time sorta way because I bet I could call home right now and my wife would verify that our trays are still there. If they weren't then I'd really like to know how you got a hold of them for your photo shoot. Then again there's that whole Photoshopping thing where you could have taken a picture of my trays and superimposed them into your photo. The angle, color, and shadowing are amazing. How did you make it looks so real? And did my wife just let you waltz right in to take a picture a said TV trays without question?

Uh ... I can't remember what this thread was about. But, cute dogs BTW. Are they greyhounds. They look like it. I heard somewhere (can't remember off the top of my head right now) but they don't do well under ....

She didn't let me waltz in there.....it was more of a sexy salsa, and then she made me give her a little 'sumthin sumthin' in return. :eek::innocent:

Well, actually, *I* didn't name them. I kept their racing names (more or less). Their racing names were "Odd Ammo" and "Odd Solomon". I dropped the "Odd" and just call them Ammo (red) and Solomon (blue).

Just got a call from vet. Ammo is done and is doing well. They said he had a lot of gingivitis and they'll give antibiotics to put him on for a week or so.

Haven't started on Solomon yet.

Keeping their names was a first class move. Making them ice cream, priceless.

OK..just got the call. Solomon is waking up and doing fine now. Ammo woke up a few hours ago. I still have to wait a few hours to go and pick them up. Glad its OK and all over with.

Hey, I have the same model of TV trays too! I use one in my room as a desk, as the real desk is waaay too cluttered. :twitchy:

Hurrah! I am so glad to hear that they came through with flying colours :D .

Those full blood panels are expensive, but I'd rather pay that then lose one of my kitties because I was too cheap.
