May is bike month and the site below is promoting bike to work week 11-15:

I have contacted the city where I live to see if they are planning any event around this. Has anyone else contacted their city? How's it going?

Austin has got quite a bit of stuff going on...a lot coordinated through Bicycle Sport Shop. Looking forward to it!!

Yeah, not surprisingly Austin is the only city in Texas on their list of cities who have already announced their participation. Someone remind me why I don't live there? Oh yeah... the J-O-B....
