Here is something I saw on an email list this morning...
"Due to a pervasive obsession with light weight, the modern quality bicycle is engineered closer to optimum (that is, the brink of structural failure) than any other consumer item of similar consequence."
Kinda makes you think....
Makes me wonder if I should buy a new bike or not? Maybe I'll just be satisfied with my 30 year old ride. :)
