Read more here (http://www.urbanassaultride.com/inside.php?page=austin). The short story is some brewery is orgnaizing these "Urban Assult Rides" in cities where they have a brewery. Looks like they've been doing it a while and it's a scavanger/obstacle course kind of thing. Looks like a perfect event for excessive drinking (afterwards).

Was anyone here at the one in Austin last year? If so what can you tell us? Most importantly is this a good reason to get off my fat arse and plan a road trip to Austin this year?

Some brewery? New Belgium isn't just "some brewery," my friend. ;-)

A coworker did it last year with his son and had a blast. He said it is totally worth and and will be doing it again this year. Tried to talk me into it as well but my monthly bike event funds will be tied up in a triathlon in June.
