My cog spun of the POS suezue basic hub this morning after a skip stop. I'd like it to not do this again, and have the hub hold out at least another month.

I use blue... (I think..its the one below the one where you need heat to get it off) and have had no problems on two sets of wheels...

Blue is removable, red is forever

I would think blue is good enough. Red requires heat to remove.

On the recommendations here, I went ahead and used the blue Loctite along with a BB lockring. I'm confident it will hold. It says it takes about 20 minutes to set and 24 hours to fully cure. I can't wait that long. It's a nice day so I'm gonna test out my converted fixed rear wheel today at lunch. Gotta shorten the chain though as the wheel is pulled as far back as it can go on my semi-horizontal drops.

your cog spun off a track hub? or am i confused. i have a suzue hub and its been fine for over a year of hard use. dont you use a lock ring?

Yes. I'm pretty rough on things.
