Hey everyone,

I haven't posted here in forever. Since going all fixie, I have only gone through this forum on occation. I know its not very utilitarian, but I tow my trailer brakeless(very slowly, and only occationally) I've gone from riding a geared bike with 28mm tires, 2 brakes nice wide risers a rear rack, a cetma 7 rail, fenders, lights, and all of the other goodies to a simple bike with 1 gear, no brakes, the same tires as the previous bike just 23mm, bullhorn bars, and I must say, I love the look, feel and connection that i have when I ride it. Anyone else here riding fixed=)?

I've ridden a couple, but it's like you say, not good for utility cycling. I have found that a single speed, geared reasonably low, can make a pretty good utility baseline.
