Hi all,

i am considering a workstand; currently using one of the simple bike stands affixed to the rear wheel and find it too flimsy for any real maintenance.

Am considering the following 2 :-

1) Taxc Cyclemotion Stand
http://www.tacx.com/producten.php?fl=true&language=EN&lvlMain=18&lvlSub=64&lvlSubSub=208&ttop=CycleMotion%20Stand

2) Topeak Prep Stand Max
http://www.topeak.com/products/Repair/PrepStandMax

The former one looks really sturdy, and it is foldable. I live in an apartment and the only space i have for doing bike stuff in in my balcony.

The 2nd one looks a bit flimsy.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance for any input.

I have the Topeak PrepStand Pro model (http://www.topeak.com/products/Repair/PrepStandPro), and while I do like it for features...it is a bit tippy.

I'd go with the first one too.
