I'd like to get back to doing some in-line skating to help my overall fitness. I now live in place that has a nice multi-use path BUT the $#%^* the path is concrete with joints just like a sidewalk. When I try skating with my old 72mm wheel skates, it's a bumpy, unpleasant ride.
Since a 29er MTB supposedly goes over bumps better due to its larger diameter wheels, is there a similar benefit from moving to a skate with 78 or 80mm wheels to help smooth out the ride?
Thanks!
