"Underwear is not worn with cycling shorts either because, you guessed it, underwear also contains seams."

GASP! ... and you condone this article?

Please note:

1. He recommends NOT wearing underpants; and

2. He has an extensive article on what to do about chafing.

One more of those 1:1 statistical correlations, hence absolutely proving my point! With underpants, no need for that article on chafing!

Good article! I won't get into underwear politics though. Okay, just one statement......

NEVER WEAR UNDERWEAR - NEVER - NOT ON THE BIKE - NOT OFF THE BIKE - NEVER. :)

(try it - you can thank me later)

That is, indeed, a very nice article about bicycle saddles. Thank you, Dvl..uh, DnvrFox for pointing it out.

I hate to admit that you are right about anything, but you're entirely correct that, if Jim Langley were to advocate wearing underpants under bike shorts, there would be no need for an article on chafing. There would be need, instead, for an article about whether medical insurance covers hospitalization for the treatment of infected saddle sores.

No undies under bike shorts for any reason ever. No excuses.
Got it, panty boy?

I am always accusing my kids at school of selective hearing. I think this is a case of selective reading!

Sometimes the thoughts of those not well informed have to be . . uh . . edited . . . to get the real meaning.
