Bicycle Mechanics - Visual classification of freehub bodies (campy vs shimano)

After special ordering a freehub body to replace the campy one on my ebay bought wheels, and my LBS telling me the one they got in was another campy type (they sent the wrong one which means I have to wait a few more days) I started to look online to see what they looked like so I could tell the difference. Well either some of these freehub bodies look exactly the same, I'm not seeing a difference, or the websites I've seen have the wrong photo.

Anyone have photos showing distinctly the splines for campy and shimano (10 speed) hubs? I'll add to this post the freehub body photo I have once I get home.

What I'm looking to build is a 10 speed Dura Ace 7800 drive train. I need to make sure I get the right hub so I can get the right cassette.

Ill have to verify, but I think the campy one you posted is the one I have.

The shimano one you posted looks like the one that was sent but my LBS said was a different campy style. When I looked at it, I saw a bunch (didnt count) of those wider teeth and then one thing one (about 1/4 to 1/2 the width of the rest). The one I saw didnt have the dip in each tooth like the one you posted does though.

Is there a campy style that has many wide teeth and one narrow tooth or do they all look like the one you posted?

the shimano 10sp aluminum freehub bodies have a taller spline, but have the same spacing as the 9sp splines.

the spline patterns are tweaked from the original for some wheel makers.

The freewheel hub on the far right is what I seem to remember the "second style campy" freewheel hub looking like. Is there in fact a campy one like this?

The shimano Durace 10 speed aluminum freehub has the highraised splines that are spaced the same as the 7,8,and 9 speeds. The newest version quietly dropped the raised spline freehub and went to a Ti. freehub with the old style splines and the outboard right bearing.
