I didn't know until now that Electra was building bikes with cargo racks, apparently some have failed.

I just installed a front rack tray. I've had no issues with it so far.

Thanks for posting this. :) I was on my way over to do it, but you beat me to it!! By the way, not sure if you all knew but we started a section just for recalls.

When you have time, take a look. Some recalls are still being honored. Perhaps you might know someone who will be affected and you can spread the word! :thumb:

Yes indeed, there is a Recall Forum, under News and Anouncements.

I only posted it here because the item in question is a Utility Bike rack. I will in the future only post recall notices in their own forum , thank you.

Another recall?? Electra really needs to up thier quality. Thier bikes look really good. Just need a bit more on the substance department.
