Join us for another year of cycling fun at the 2009 Cap2Cap ride! This is one of the fastest growing riding events in the region and support the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation in their mission to make the Virginia Capital Trail a world-class trail.
You will be treated to some of the most stunning scenery Virginia has to offer, while pedaling through 400years of history. Come for the ride and spend a few days visiting the beautiful ante-bellum plantations and civil war battlefields as well as the historic capitals of Jamestown, Williamsburg and Richmond while you're in the area.
This ride will also give you a chance to see parts of Interstate Bike Route 76, the, "Transamerica Route.
More distance options: 100, 50 and 25 miles with two starting points: Williamsburg and Richmond
A free youth and family kids course in Richmond
15-Mile Family Route on the Virginia Capital Trail from Williamsburg
Start Times:
Century (100 Miles): 8 a.m.
Half Century (50 Miles): 9 a.m.
25-miles: 10 a.m.
15-Mile family route (available only in Williamsburg) can begin after 8 a.m. Course support will end at noon.
