Ok 06 cannondale tandem
a DTswiss HuGI with a mavic A719
I bought some new wheels and started to swap over parts. cassette went well.
I pulled the set screw out of the collar removed the 6 disk bolts and placed the collar in a wooden vice and gave it a bump.
I got the bad thread cutting noise from the collar. looked into the small setscrew hole and found some sparkles and shavings.
noone till now has been into this hub or rotor...
How can this happen? Set screw not machined correctily and has burrs no anti sezie in build up?
odds of a warrenty?
the wheel was to be kept as a spare.
