And it's gotten worse since then.
I did not cycle to work today ... but I'm not sure how I'm going to get home. The busses will hardly be running and I didn't dress for 40 cm (10 inches) of snow and howling winds.

Winnipeg, Manitoba ... the land of snow and ice.
Wow - that's crazy! Well, it looks as if you're prepared for such weather though: (sorry, I had a peak @ your photo album!)

Yeah, well the earlier pics in that album were taken in January not May!! I can deal with that in January.
(no problem about looking over my photo album. :))
Hey Machka, Same thing here. Didn't quite stick as bad. Been snowing all day!
Feeling lucky here. Up North of here they have had a dumping. Our temps will be dropping this week into the 60s, and 40s at night, so we avoided some wonderful weather. I sort of wish I was in Winnepeg, a May snow sure would be something different than what we've got. We did get this wonderful thunderstorm that rolled through Sunday, we had a bunch of weather, rain, wind, hail, tornados, but no snow.
Machka you are soooo lucky!
By a curious coincidence, I measured the temperature at the "top" of Gilston road on tonight's ride. 11 degrees C is about as "cold" as it's got here so far this year. :D
Very nice Machka, I saved that one for when it gets in the high 80F to use as my wallpaper when it gets hot out. Nothing like a snowy picture to help keep you cool. :)
Very cool thanks,
