Hey all, I just got some new formula brakes, and after getting my bike back (for a second time) from my lbs, they finally worked! But then I flipped my bike over and took both the wheels off. While I was cleaning my dorm room I tripped on the back brake lever and now my rear brake doesnt work. I have formula k24's.
Thanks in advance!

p.s. sorry if this might be confusing or missing information, I just pulled an all-nighter studying for a midterm today :twitchy:

So in what way aren't they working?

the rear brake doesn't catch at all, I can squeeze to the handlebars and it won't stop me.

Perhaps there is a quick-release lever on the calipers (or maybe even the levers) that you inadvertently opened. Many braking systems have such things to allow the calipers to spread enough to remove the wheel/tire. Or, if you have V-brakes, maybe the noodle has slipped out of its holder.

I have hydraulics, and I didn't find any lever of that sort. Perhaps theres a bubble in the line?... i hope not

most likely you are not supposed to store the bike up side down. I think formula is an open system and they need to be bled again by you LBS.

well fark, can anybody confirm that they are an open system and need to be re-bled? That stupid bike shop has screwed up on me twice and I really don't want to go back to any bike shop for that matter
