Hi, I'm Larry. I enjoyed a biking trip from Great Falls, Mn to Montana along the Canadian/US border. I was told that my good forture was a phenomena called the Hudson High. The deal is that once a year (summer, usually) the prevailing winds switch from westerly to easterly. This gave a nice push and allowed a lot of miles per day. Is anyone familiar with this? If so, does anyone know where to go for calendar forecasts. I would like to take friends on this trip this year and would, certainly, like to catch this again if possible. Thanks. Larry Swanson
