I'm planning a ride from DFW to Longview in May and am curious about some of the roads I plan to use. My preliminary route is mostly east on 276 to Lake Fork, where I'll jump on 154. Does anyone have experience cycling these roads and can comment on their viability as a cycling route? The bridge over Tawakoni looks sketchy (two-lane, no shoulder per Google maps), so I may have to detour around the lake.
